Do You Have A Backyard? You Can Help Cyndi (Carson Cats)

Carson Cat
Carson Cat

Rehoming him to a backyard would involve him being in a cage for 3-4 weeks (that I would supply) so he knows where his new home is and won’t run away when released – he would live in your yard and get used to noises, dogs, kids, etc. After 3-4 weeks he can be released and you will need to continue to feed him and provide water.

Please let me know ASAP if you have a backyard and can help!

The feral situation at the shelters is very sad.  They come in terrified and have no hope…and are killed once their holding period is up.  We will pay to have them spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and have their ear tipped (universal sign that they are fixed).  Then, we will set up a cage that the cats will live in for 3-4 weeks so that they realize that your yard is their new home.  After they are released, you will just have to give them food and water.

Please contact Cyndi at cdzacko@hotmail.com or 310-721-5802 if you can help!

“Indy” A Gorgeous, Exotic Looking Tabby Needs Out Of Shelter

Gorgeous Indy
Gorgeous Indy

Indy (Impound # A4054346)  Indy was brought into the Carson Shelter over a month ago as a stray.  She is absolutely stunning, and there is something very exotic looking about this darling!

After only 2 weeks in the shelter, Indy developed a URI and was put in the treatment room.  Indy has been recovering well and is mostly over her cold and eating well, but she has spent 3 weeks in the sick building where the public is not allowed to enter so she has had NO CHANCE at getting adopted.  Now that Indy is better, she needs to find an adopter FAST!!!!   Indy is a 2 year old sweetie, always comes up to the front of the cage to rub against you and say hi – she loves attention and is starved for it – can you give her a chance???***INDY’s time is URGENT and she needs out by the END OF THE WEEK***

If you can help, please contact me or the shelter to adopt!!!!  Her adoption fee for a rescue is only $25 and $30 for non-rescue!

LOVING Staffie needs MIRACLE “Luna” 9-mos, Spayed A1075603 East Valley

LunaGirlEV_A1033340

Luna Girl at E Valley

This is going to take a miracle, but maybe, just maybe the stars will align for Luna A1075603.  She’s a super-loving, all-around amazing girl.  Her owners adopted her from East as a small puppy and took her back because developed juvenile onset demodectic mange.  This form is not considered contagious.  When I visited her she just wanted me to pet her and to stay with her.  She never stopped wagging her tail.   She’s still a puppy just 9-mos-old, spayed.  The chances of a black staffie (does have white on her chest & neck) getting out of East alive are slim.  Please network her.

URGENT at EV: Broken Pelvis “Kelly” A1075885, Prolapsed Eye “Ora” A1072211

Thank you to everyone who helped network Buddy, the orange tabby dumped at East Valley.  Sadly, he was euthanized yesterday morning.  The New Hope Coordinator (Veronica) wants everyone to network two wonderful cats in great danger – in his memory.  We couldn’t get Buddy out in time, but maybe we can save these girls

* KELLY (A1075885) is a very loving, petite grey tabby, 4 yrs.  She has a broken pelvis.  She’s been at East since Oct. 9th.  The shelter took x-rays of her when she arrived and would take another set before releasing her to a rescuer (as a way to help).

 KellyEV_A1075885

* ORA (A1072211) is also very loving.  She’s been at East since Oct. 21st.  They’re really trying to give her a chance since she’s so sweet.  Black with white tuft, 3 yrs.  She has a prolapsed left eye.  I’ve seen something like this before. The vet cut back the extra eyelid.  That recovered completely within days.

Urgent: Dumped Orange Declaw – East Valley A1078643/ RESCUED 12/1!!

Update: RESCUED 12/1  Thanks to the generousity of Michele Hoffman, They are going to pull him tomorrow (1st day available)!! She’s going to take him to her vet to remove the growth and biopsy it. Say prayers for Buddy. If it’s benign, They will foster and place him.

Buddy

This is the cat the man (DNA just posted) http://lifesapet.com/2009/12/01/dna-north-hollywood/ dumped at East Valley to be euthanized. He said his name is Buddy. He’s loving, declawed, neutered, 7 yrs. Eating wet food well, 11 pounds. Buddy has a small growth on the right side of his lower jaw. If it’s benign, he’s quite adoptable since he’s so friendly and declawed. Please network him. Another rescuer had a cat with a similar problem. Growth was benign and cat recovered completely from having it removed and was adopted. If it’s malignant, he probably won’t live long, but at least he could be loved and made comfortable. This is a tough one. If you can donate funds and/or foster, please email or call me. If you feel you can care for him and foster him, please contact Veronica directly ASAP. He comes available this WED. DEC. 2nd. Belinda 818-554-6807.
