I’ve been in rescue for a long time, and the shelter can turn the biggest, best dog into a scared trembling mess … it can be extra hard on the little ones – Baby hasnt let the shelter get in HER WAY ! She gives kisses, cuddles and wags her tail no matter what. That is a great accomplishment.
Baby was surrendered by her owners when they lost their home. They never took care of her tiny teeth – and she does need a dental … but its an EASY fix ! Only 6 yrs old – 15 more ahead of her – she wont chew up your Jimmy Choos, already potty trained … come meet Baby Today !

This Sunday-Free S/N clinic in R.B. for ferals – for trappers and colony

The PV Village Vet Clinic and PURRfect Partners are sponsoring a free spay and neuter clinic for free-roaming cats Sunday, Feb. 21, in Redondo Beach.
The volunteers hope to treat as many as 110 cats, said Debra Corwin, founder of PURRfect Partners in Redondo Beach. She noted that the number of kittens born each year is increasing.

Cyndi Zacko…Carson Cats Rescuer Is In Dire Need Of Financial Help

I don’t know if anyone remembers Little, a feral cat that I got when she was about 3 month’s old and socialized. She was soon lost after an adoption event in West L.A. and I searched for her day and night for 2 1/2 months before I finally found her. She has become extremely special to me and a long term foster over the past year. Her picture is attached.
A month ago, she developed a chronic ear infection to which I did several tests to figure out what was going on. I finally spent $1000 to do a CT scan and x-rays and they found that she has a very big polyp growing in her ear canal that will just become bigger if not removed. She has been walking around with her head tilted for the past few weeks. She needs a complicated surgery called a Ventral Bulla Osteotomy which will remove the polyp and any fluid in her ears.

Please help this small female chihuahua that is at North Central AC in Los Angeles. She is only 6 pounds and needs to find a home asap! She is uncomfortable in a shelter environment that is cold, lonely and full of large and barking dogs that are scarey to her! UPDATE 2/12 This kitty was deemed feral and scheduled to be euthanized by the Carson shelter. Cyndi Rescued him and took him to Beach Cities Cat Clinic to be vetted. They called and said he is a real lover, purring and everything! Thanks to everyone who networked this beauty! He will be going to a foster tomorrow and then adopted out to a loving home.

There is a beautiful Russian Blue polydactyl ”semi-feral” that was turned into Carson on 1/30. I put a hold on it, but then forgot to network it and his time is up This fella was turned in and apparently they labeled it as semi-feral. He may be between 1-3 years old and has extra toes on his front paws.
If you know anyone who might want a beautiful cat to look at and care for outside, please let me know and I can arrange his RESCUE!!!! We can provide a large dog cage for his relocation and all the supplies in return for someone to feed this kitty for the rest of his life :)
