I just wanted to let you know that you can now register and/or receive updates on my website/blog www.lifesapet.com  which is a animal rescue site for Los Angeles County. You now can post your rescue/shelter cats or dogs, adoption events, news articles, DNA’s, Lost and found, and rescued animals directly to the site absolutely FREE.

*This site is open to all rescuers, not just 501(c) groups. It is dedicated to all homeless animals* 

Your posts will then be automatically shown on twitter and facebook for more exposure! You can also opt in to receive updates in your email whenever there is a new post on the site.

To register: Under the title “Register And Post” in the left sidebar, click on register and sign up. It’s fast and easy! Your email is never given out to anyone.

A4064686 is unaltered 2 mo old male kitten available at Carson AC. Can someone give this little guy a home? He is sweet and cute.

“Duke” is a grey/wht male tabby, 7 mos old and was found along with his 2 other siblings in a yard in San Pedro.  A kind lady rescued them and got them all fixed up…giving them all their shots, FELV/FIV tested which came up negative, got them neutered/spayed, de-wormed and de-flead.

“Duke” is a special kitty that acts just like a playful and curious puppy. He is very social and loves to “talk”.  Could you open your heart to this special kitty and give him the home he really deserves?

HI EVERYONE!

I got Bette out yesterday from the shelter and boy, what a sweetie pie!!!  She is the black and white kitty attached with the big eyes.  Her picture DOES NOT due to her justice!!!  She is soooo cute and petite in person – has an adorable chirping talk and is perfectly healthy!!!!  PLEASE NETWORK FOR A FOSTER OR HOME FOR THIS DOLL!!!! Also, the vet estimated her to be only 2 or 3 and NOT 8 as the shelter indicated.  She is FELV/FIV negative, all ready spayed and microchipped.  She is safe from the shelter and is ready to go!!! 

Janey is also ready to go.  She is the mostly white Turkish van looking one.  She is a petite thing and such a sweetie.  Still fairly young as she does play bites and loves to do cookies – she is a huge attention seeker and love bug – she has been caged for a month now and is ready to be loved.  Janey is also FELV/FIVv negative.

Janey (Impound # A4056722) was dumped at the shelter by her owners on 11/08.  She is just shy of a year and an absolute doll - she honestly does not stop kneading her blanket as soon as she sees you – it is adorable and heart breaking at the same time…I want so badly for her to get a loving home.  Her picture does not do her justice as she melts your heart as soon as you meet her.  Please network this super sweet lap cat. 

Bette (Impound # A4054767)  This sweetie pie was brought in as a stray on November 3. Since she was stray, the shelter put her in the building where they house the “unadoptable” feral cats who are awaiting euthanasia. It is a place where no potential adopter would ever see her. Fortunately, a volunteer noticed her there and discovered that she is VERY tame and VERY affectionate. She is now in the adoptables building and waiting to meet you! (Impound Number A4054767) Look for the sweet black and white short hair with the striking set of BIG eyes. They are like huge round circles set in her cute-as-a-button face. The shelter guesses this lovebug to be around 8 years old, but we are thinking she is much younger.

Thank you to everyone who helped network Buddy, the orange tabby dumped at East Valley.  Sadly, he was euthanized yesterday morning.  The New Hope Coordinator (Veronica) wants everyone to network two wonderful cats in great danger – in his memory.  We couldn’t get Buddy out in time, but maybe we can save these girls

* KELLY (A1075885) is a very loving, petite grey tabby, 4 yrs.  She has a broken pelvis.  She’s been at East since Oct. 9th.  The shelter took x-rays of her when she arrived and would take another set before releasing her to a rescuer (as a way to help).    

* ORA (A1072211) is also very loving.  She’s been at East since Oct. 21st.  They’re really trying to give her a chance since she’s so sweet.  Black with white tuft, 3 yrs.  She has a prolapsed left eye.  I’ve seen something like this before. The vet cut back the extra eyelid.  That recovered completely within days.
