NEEDS OUT TOMORROW!!! FLUFFY LONG HAIR 4 YR TORTIE, EXCHANGED FOR YOUNGER KITTEN NOW WILL DIE!! Carson Shelter
MEET BEAUTIFUL STEPHANIE
(A3916499)!!
BEAUTIFUL STEPHANIE has definitely gotten the short end of the stick. She was originally adopted out in 2008 from Carson Shelter after she was dumped there when she was barely a year. Now Stephanie is 4 years old and she was turned in by her owner on October 1st. The owner said she was sick – BALONEY!! The shelter did not see any evidence that she was sick at all and has been bright, alert and responsive. Shortly after Stephanie was put in her holding cage to be brought back to the shelter observation room, the Owner proceeded to try and adopt a younger kitten – all the while her cat Stephanie was plastered up against the front bars wanting attention from the former owner. One of the shelter volunteers saw all what was going on and ran up to the front office to tell the officer in charge what this lady was trying to do & the shelter blocked her from adopting.
Stephanie is a very sweet cat, does not seem to mind other cats and deserves a second chance!
Stephanie started meds for the typical shelter cold on 10/18 and now she needs RESCUE TOMORROW, FRIDAY 10/20.
Her Pull fee, transport and combo test are covered. Can anyone please rescue and foster this baby??
Please email me at cdzacko@gmail.com if you can help foster!!
Please seechip in below if you can help raise funds for any extra vetting or boarding that might be needed!

EMERGENCY!! 50 STARVING FRIENDLY CATS IN GARDENA HOME! NEED HELP
http://carsoncats.com/2011/09/27/40-cats-carson-shelter-bound-at-80-year-mans-house-please-help/
We have had several people go down and visit the man in Gardena with the 50 cats to assess the situation. It seems like the cats population has only grown in the past couple of years and he started out with
only a couple cats. Seems like this is a perfect example on how spaying and neutering is so important!!! The man does seem to not be entirely “with it” and these sweet cats definitely need to get out ASAP for lack of proper care and so that they don’t become impounded to Carson Shelter.
David Sobel (david.sobel@att.net) has taken lead now on this project as I am so busy doing other rescue efforts.
I will forward you his emails as he sends them out! Thank you David and also thank you Cheryl Ann with Stray Cat Alliance for taking the videos and pictures!!
Any donations that come through Stray Cat Alliance ear-marked for this project and through the chip-in below will be directed straight to David for the efforts of this project.
Thank you soooo much everyone for networking this case. These cats need our help!!
Cyndi Zacko and Caryn Klein
