I just saw this sweet dog (Mr. NY) that is going to be euthanized in about 2 hours because of lack of space.  It’s a long shot, but I reposted him hoping that someone might be able to help.  Network him if you can.

A4055992 Colette is a one year old female black and tan Chihuahua mix puppy who was abandoned at the Baldwin shelter by her owner on November 6th. Weighing around fifteen pounds, this sweet little girl is quite scared at being in the shelter and is a bit shy at first. However, once she gets out of her kennel, she is friendly and affectionate with both people and other dogs. Colette will make a wonderful companion for owners in any living situation.

A3996432 Chico is a five year old male cream-colored Chihuahua mix who was dumped at the shelter by his owner on November 4th. Despite his age of five years, Chico loves to play with other dogs more than anything else! Weighing ten pounds, this happy little guy is well-socialized and adores people as well. He will be a perfect pet for owners living either apartments or private homes.

UPDATE 11/10 This little girl is still there! She is in ISO where no one can see her.  She just finished her medicine for URI.  The kennel worker told me she is a very sweet dog and scared in there.  Please someone help her.  I can transport on the weekend and possibly during the week after work.  Tammy Hilo (626) 437-5666

I have been at the shelter since Oct 28, 2009.

Someone spoke to a kennel worker about her today.   She said there were no temperament problems.  They asked her to personally check her out herself and she did.  She came back to the phone all happy and said, “She’s a real sweetie!”  She said she held her, checked her teeth, and checked how she acts.  She said she’s a real sweet dog.  She asked if someone could get her out.  They told her they would network and hopefully someone would rescue her.
