I was at Carson yesterday and this little sweet chihuahua was being dropped of by a father and daughter. She is the sweetest dog! She is really scared at the shelter and with the freezing nights she just cowers in the corner and shakes! PLEASE someone take her home! If you are interested in her, please call the shelter immediately at 310 527-5158 and ask about animal ID#A4072298, then ask to put an IP on her (interested party) so they won’t euthanize her until you get to the shelter to pick her up. UPDATE: 12/29 Rescued by @cottageantiques: slept on new mom’s lap for 3 hours! Little baby is safe and sound!
This little girl definitely does not need to be in a shelter environment! She is very small and scared. Could someone possibly rescue or adopt her ASAP? She is a 3yr old spayed female smooth coated chihuahua. I would get her myself but I am overloaded with animals right now.

A4058266 Palmolive is a really attractive outgoing white and gray spayed female pit bull puppy who came into the shelter as a stray on November 13th. Weighing approximately fifty-five pounds Palmolive is an energetic girl who loves children. Palmolive needs some leash training and is very eager to please so she will learn quickly. Palmolive should be the only dog in her household – and will make a wonderful indoor pet for an active family living in a private home.

A4063977 Lucy is a spectacular two year old brown and tan spayed female Dachshund mix who entered the shelter as a stray on December 1st. Weighing approximately twelve pounds this cheerful pup adores children and other dogs. Lucy is very gentle and has a medium energy level. Other than being petted her favourite activity seems to be getting treats, and then burying them for a later day! Lucy will make a fantastic addition to any household!

LOVING Staffie needs MIRACLE “Luna” 9-mos, Spayed A1075603 East Valley

This is going to take a miracle, but maybe, just maybe the stars will align for Luna A1075603. She’s a super-loving, all-around amazing girl. Her owners adopted her from East as a small puppy and took her back because developed juvenile onset demodectic mange. This form is not considered contagious. When I visited her she just wanted me to pet her and to stay with her. She never stopped wagging her tail. She’s still a puppy just 9-mos-old, spayed. The chances of a black staffie (does have white on her chest & neck) getting out of East alive are slim. Please network her.

Colette is a one year old female black and tan Chihuahua mix puppy

A4055992 Colette is a one year old female black and tan Chihuahua mix puppy who was abandoned at the Baldwin shelter by her owner on November 6th. Weighing around fifteen pounds, this sweet little girl is quite scared at being in the shelter and is a bit shy at first. However, once she gets out of her kennel, she is friendly and affectionate with both people and other dogs. Colette will make a wonderful companion for owners in any living situation.

A3996432 Chico is a five year old male cream-colored Chihuahua mix who was dumped at the shelter by his owner on November 4th. Despite his age of five years, Chico loves to play with other dogs more than anything else! Weighing ten pounds, this happy little guy is well-socialized and adores people as well. He will be a perfect pet for owners living either apartments or private homes.

Precious Little Girl Needs Out Of E. Valley Shelter ASAP

UPDATE 11/10 This little girl is still there! She is in ISO where no one can see her. She just finished her medicine for URI. The kennel worker told me she is a very sweet dog and scared in there. The shelter thinks I am about 1 year and 1 month old.
I have been at the shelter since Oct 28, 2009.
Someone spoke to a kennel worker about her today. She said there were no temperament problems. They asked her to personally check her out herself and she did. She came back to the phone all happy and said, “She’s a real sweetie!” She said she held her, checked her teeth, and checked how she acts. She said she’s a real sweet dog.
