DNA – North Hollywood

He came to our adoption event in Canoga Park this weekend.  Called first.  Looking for a single orange tabby kitten.  Lied all over application.  Took his loving 7-yr-old orange tabby cat Buddy to Burbank Shelter a few days ago to be euthanized for throwing up (he said, not on app).  http://lifesapet.com/2009/12/01/urgent-dumped-orange-declaw-east-valley-a1078643/  They wouldn’t do it since he’s not a Burbank resident.  Then took him to East Valley Shelter.  Lied, said cat was stray, gave false name and address.  Declawed Buddy.  Lied on application about that too.

Please forward to all rescue people and groups.  Added to list.

Urgent: Dumped Orange Declaw – East Valley A1078643/ RESCUED 12/1!!

Update: RESCUED 12/1  Thanks to the generousity of Michele Hoffman, They are going to pull him tomorrow (1st day available)!! She’s going to take him to her vet to remove the growth and biopsy it. Say prayers for Buddy. If it’s benign, They will foster and place him.

Buddy

This is the cat the man (DNA just posted) http://lifesapet.com/2009/12/01/dna-north-hollywood/ dumped at East Valley to be euthanized. He said his name is Buddy. He’s loving, declawed, neutered, 7 yrs. Eating wet food well, 11 pounds. Buddy has a small growth on the right side of his lower jaw. If it’s benign, he’s quite adoptable since he’s so friendly and declawed. Please network him. Another rescuer had a cat with a similar problem. Growth was benign and cat recovered completely from having it removed and was adopted. If it’s malignant, he probably won’t live long, but at least he could be loved and made comfortable. This is a tough one. If you can donate funds and/or foster, please email or call me. If you feel you can care for him and foster him, please contact Veronica directly ASAP. He comes available this WED. DEC. 2nd. Belinda 818-554-6807.
