*5lbs of FABULOUS*~ Can Someone Rescue? (West Los Angeles)
Been dying for something to put in your gucci doggie bag ? Meet Baby ! Teensy little apple head girl – sweet as they come ! I’ve been in rescue for a long time, and the shelter can turn the biggest, best dog into a scared trembling mess … it can be extra hard on the little ones – Baby hasnt let the shelter get in HER WAY ! She gives kisses, cuddles and wags her tail no matter what. That is a great accomplishment.
Baby was surrendered by her owners when they lost their home. They never took care of her tiny teeth – and she does need a dental … but its an EASY fix ! Only 6 yrs old – 15 more ahead of her – she wont chew up your Jimmy Choos, already potty trained … come meet Baby Today !

Cyndi Zacko…Carson Cats Rescuer Is In Dire Need Of Financial Help
All -
I don’t know if anyone remembers Little, a feral cat that I got when she was about 3 month’s old and socialized. She was soon lost after an adoption event in West L.A. and I searched for her day and night for 2 1/2 months before I finally found her. She has become extremely special to me and a long term foster over the past year. Her picture is attached.
A month ago, she developed a chronic ear infection to which I did several tests to figure out what was going on. I finally spent $1000 to do a CT scan and x-rays and they found that she has a very big polyp growing in her ear canal that will just become bigger if not removed. She has been walking around with her head tilted for the past few weeks. She needs a complicated surgery called a Ventral Bulla Osteotomy which will remove the polyp and any fluid in her ears.

Needs Rescue: Sweet 5 month old Kitten Hidden Away in Unadoptables-RESCUED
RESCUED!! THANK YOU ALL!!
This 5 month old sweety was tucked away in the unadoptables building and sat for TWO WEEKS b/c it came in as a stray and was labeled feral. When one of the volunteers was cleaning her cage on Saturday, she noticed this poor thing and went to go pet it…well, it was not feral, but just really shy!!! The volunteer picked the kitty up and rubbed her belly and she was totally fine – we are talking about love bug material if someone can just give her some TLC. The shelter has since moved her to the adoptable building and labeled her as “Friendly” rather than “Feral.”
This kitten is HEALTHY NOW but will need to get out ASAP before it gets sick. It also needs just a little love to come out of its shell.
Pictures attached. IMPOUND NUMBER A4081964

Blind Sweet Terrier Mix Needs Rescue From High Kill Shelter-RESCUED!
RESCUED! Thanks All!!
I normally only network cats out of Carson Shelter, but the volunteers called me on Saturday and again today on this 4 month old terrier mix below to see if I could help network it and get it out of Carson Shelter. It came in as a stray on 1/28 and apparently it may be blind. The volunteers fell in love with him on Saturday and are extremely worried about him. They say that there is no one networking this dog and no holds on it and they really want him to be adopted.
He is as sweet as pie and comes running to you when you call his name.
Carson has just gotten rid of 50 dog cages, did a huge mass killing of cats last week and the volunteers are just very concerned about getting this sweet young terrier mix out of there as soon as possible.

MIA (Impound # A4068800) Little Mia needs out of the Carson Shelter IMMEDIATELY. She has been at the shelter for nearly 6 weeks (intake date was 12/16/09) so her time is URGENT!!!!! Mia is 1-2 years old, solid black with eyes that sparkle!!! She is full of life and we could not get her to stay still for a picture as she was always on the move and desperately wanted to get out of her cage (they do not have an exercise room so imagine you being stuck in a cage for 6 weeks).
