EMERGENCY!! 50 STARVING FRIENDLY CATS IN GARDENA HOME! NEED HELP
http://carsoncats.com/2011/09/27/40-cats-carson-shelter-bound-at-80-year-mans-house-please-help/
We have had several people go down and visit the man in Gardena with the 50 cats to assess the situation. It seems like the cats population has only grown in the past couple of years and he started out with
only a couple cats. Seems like this is a perfect example on how spaying and neutering is so important!!! The man does seem to not be entirely “with it” and these sweet cats definitely need to get out ASAP for lack of proper care and so that they don’t become impounded to Carson Shelter.
David Sobel (david.sobel@att.net) has taken lead now on this project as I am so busy doing other rescue efforts.
I will forward you his emails as he sends them out! Thank you David and also thank you Cheryl Ann with Stray Cat Alliance for taking the videos and pictures!!
Any donations that come through Stray Cat Alliance ear-marked for this project and through the chip-in below will be directed straight to David for the efforts of this project.
Thank you soooo much everyone for networking this case. These cats need our help!!

Orange Kitty Living Outside In The Cold Mountains, Needs Home ASAP!
Please can anyone take this sweet cat in? He is currently living outside in Running Springs where it is very cold and the wild life can get him! There are many coyotes up there! He is a stray cat that had to be somebody’s at one time because he is so affectionate. The people feeding him think he is about 1 or 2 years old. They cannot take him in because they have other animals that won’t like it. Please forward this to anyone or rescue you know of that may be able to at least foster him. People can contact me by email jkmenell@charter.net or call 909-337-3157.
Thanks Jessica
