Yesterday afternoon and this morning, we searched the four block area between Aves 54 and Ave 56, and Stratford and York. There are many friendly but noisy dogs in the area, some that run loose, so I suspect if Sam came through here, she kept going. This seems supported by her sighting at Occidental College, which lies at the north end of Stratford.

Still, we are out walking or driving in the area, usually once in the morning and once in the evening so we'll keep an eye out. Our dogs are fenced but always say hello to any passing dog -- we'll keep an eye on those encounters as well.
